We we're in Morocco for a total of 3 weeks spanning from before Rosh Hashanah till after Yom Kippur. Naturally we made sure to be near a shul for the high holidays. Casablanca is the only place in Morocco that still has a larger Jewish community left.
We did some restaurant hopping before Yom Kippur, here's a list, and I'll also break it down by restaurant for more details.
Fhal Bakery
Bagel Bar Dairy Restaurant (Cholov Yisrael cheese on request) +212 6 58 75 34 35
Cercle de L'union +212 6 15 90 47 71
Cercle de L'alliance +212 6 61 29 75 00
There are more but I'm not sure if they are still open so I didn't include it on the list. Ask Chabad of Casablanca for more information.
Fhal Bakery
63, Rue Jaber Ben Hayane
Casablanca, Morocco
Since we arrived on a Friday our first stop was at the Fhal Bakery. We were greeted so warmly by the manager that we even got a tour down the block of a local Shul that was absolutely beautiful.
We took our goodies and went on to explore a bit of Casablanca. Not gonna lie, this bakery was super pricy, but we enjoyed having options!
We stopped to check out Hassan II Mosque which is the second largest functioning mosque in Africa and is the 7th largest in the world. This is where I did Tashlich.
The Medina in Casablanca is sad. I wouldn't recommend exploring it.

Cercle de L’union

Casablanca 20250, Morocco
I have a bunch of videos of the place on here.
They were so nice and helpful to us. When they found out that that we were two girls traveling alone (for some reason it was very shocking to Moroccan men) they put together some goodies for the breaking of the Yom Kipur fast. We got all this and more for $34!!!!!
To go for the breaking of the fast.
I want to go back!
After Yom Kipur we caught a flight to Israel with a stopover in Turkey and that concluded our Morocco trip!
Here's a full list of everything Kosher in Morocco. It was given to me pre Covid by Chabad of Casablanca. Make sure to research it it's open before making plans.

Dear friend,
Thank you for your email requesting information regarding Morocco!
Morocco has a wonderful large Jewish community in Casablanca which boasts numerous Shuls, restaurants, bakeries and small kosher grocery. Some other cities have smaller communities with Jewish sites to see.
As Shluchim in Casablanca we take pleasure in hosting tourists that pass through Casablanca for Shabbat. For security purposes please reply to this email with a scan of your passport and a reference to your local Rabbi. (Below is a list of hotels close to our home and community synagogues).
Chabad can also provide Glatt Kosher meals for groups only in Casablanca. This can be convenient for conferences etc.
Contact information for Kosher establishments in Casablanca: (Meat and chicken is not up to the Glatt Kosher standard) Local milk and bread is generally authorized however they are not Cholov Yisrael / Pas Yisrael
