Cozumel is a small island off of Playa Del Carmen Mexico. To get there, you'll need to take a ferry. Why not just stay in Playa or Cancun you ask? Well, the island has a very different energy.
For starters it's way less crowded and it has more of an islander vibe to it since it's less developed. It has tons of water sports, affordable villas and pristine clear water. Scuba diving and snorkeling is a thing here because of it's reefs. It's also a stop for many cruise lines and so they have lots and lots of shopping options!
Come here to get away from heavy tourism and take a deep breathe and relax. There are 4 Kosher restaurants in Cozumel, 1 of them is only a few months old.
Chabad of Cozumel is very open and helpful to travelers. The have a bakery, restaurant, daily minyan, Shabbat meals, and holiday events.
You can eat inside and enjoy the air conditioner or eat on their roof with fresh air! The best part about this place is the energy. It's so warm and welcoming! It's nearly impossible to pass through without being noticed and welcomed.
This new restaurant is right on the water and just a few blocks from the ferry. They have a balcony with an amazing view of the water to enhance your dining experience.
We tried out half the menu and we recommend ordering anything with fish, its fresh flavorful and oh so tasty! The drinks are great too!
This cafe has coffee, breakfast, pastries and sandwiches. We tried many items from the menu and our recommendation would be the pizza.
This falafel and shawarma joint is perfect for a quick lunch or takeaway for your day trip! On Friday's they have a challah schnitzel special that will leave you very very full.
