Puerto Vallarta is located on the West coast of Mexico, making it a lot more accessible to those in Texas, LA, Las Vegas etc, versus going to Cancun. Hop on a plane for ocean views, whale watching and breezy sunny boardwalks!
What really drew us in to Puerto Vallarta were the affordable seaside Airbnbs that were so close to the Chabad, just a 7 minute walk! For example, this Airbnb where we stayed is part of a condo building that has many more condos available, it has a gym, infinity pool, kiddie pool, lap pool, beach access, and beautiful views. While there is no Kosher restaurants here, Chabad offers takeout, Shabbat meals, catering, and they also have a mini Kosher grocery store with staples. We stayed for Pesach and ate almost all the meals there. The food was tasty and plentiful! You can book meals on their site: www.chabadvallarta.com

Bteween it being Pesach and us having two under 2, we didn't get around to doing much, but it's a very busy city with so many beaches and family friendly activities.
